Helping you to focus your energy
on the job in hand

How the programme works

Ready to Start is a unique programme that provides the right training, sign-posting and support to enable disabled people to start their own business.

The programme is being provided by Leonard Cheshire Disability in partnership with Barclays. In this way Ready to Start combines a unique understanding of disability and enterprise which is ideal for disabled people who are thinking about going into self-employment.

Ready to Start is operating in most English regions and in South Wales.  If you have a disability and want to start your own business, you can drop us an email and we will do our best to let you know whether Ready to Start is available at a location near you.

By exploring this website you can find out more about the programme. And we can help you explore whether self-employment is the way forward for you.
