Complete our online application form to apply to be part of the Ready to Start programme. We'll ask you for information about you and your situation, and your business idea.
If you are working with an agency, eg- Job Centre Plus or a disability organisation, we suggest you seek their help to complete the form as we also need their contact details and for them to complete a supporting statement at the end of the application form. If you can, complete the application together as they will not be able to access the form separately.
Before you start, check our eligibility criteria
What you'll need
As welll as your usual contact details, make sure you have to hand:
- your National Insurance number
- what benefits you are currently claiming (if any)
- an outline of any work experience you may have
- information about your business idea
- your supporting agency's details and statement (if relevant)
When you have completed the form, just press submit!
What we'll do
We will then look at the information you have provided, make sure that you fit our criteria and let you know whether you have been accepted onto the programme. We will do this as quickly as possible as we know most people are anxious to get going but you will certainly hear back from us within six weeks.
