Are you eligible
In order to be eligible for the Ready to Start programme, you must meet the following criteria:
- be a disabled person. This means you have a physical or mental impairment that has a substantial and long-term adverse effect on your ability to carry out normal day-to-day activities.
- be aged 19 or over
- have adequate levels of English and maths to take part in the programme. This will usually mean GCSE or an equivalent Level 2 standard, although you do not need to have gained an actual qualification.
- be actively seeking to establish your business idea in order to benefit from the resources available during the programme.
- be legally resident in the UK
- be living within a reasonable geographical distance of one of our programme locations.
